If you want to know love for someone, learn to love them, or find out how much love you have for them, then what you gotta do is learn to see them crying. That is, see in them what it is that makes them cry deep down in their soul, where they find complete quiet despair which is inexpressable. You see this in their eyes best, but also in every bit of who they are.

In a way, every person cries for the same thing: love extreme and undying and undue. But each person is different in the way they cry and the varied need they feel closest to. The more you know about a person (not facts but insight) the clearer this picture will be. And the more you love the person, the deeper their crying will affect you.

And when you see this image of that person, an image which can always be seen if your eyes are open, how could you not accept them? how could you turn away from them? how could you not want to comfort them in their need, which is always there at the very base of their nature?

What else is there?
